This is the easiest and simplest way to hack your iPhone. It works for ALL currently available iPhones, including the 02 UK iPhone (1.1.2 OTB). You should be running Firmware version 1.1.3 on your iPhone before using this. Then simply connect your iPhone and press the Jailbreak button. This will activate your iPhone, jailbreak it and install the Installer.app program that allows you to download cool new programs to run on your iPhone. Optionally, you can also choose to unlock your iPhone which will allow you to use it on networks other than AT&T, O2 and Orange. The entire process takes only 1 - 3 minutes. Genius!

Civil Netizen (Direct File Transfer)

Civil Netizen is an application which is available for the Mac, PC or Linux. It allows you to easily transfer files between these three platforms in a manner far simpler than standard networking or unreliable email attachments. The main advantages are that your data is securely encrypted during transit, you can transfer enormous files without needing to configure anything and file transfers will restart from where they left off should they be interrupted. A slightly confusing user interface is all that stops this application from getting full marks.

Azureus (BitTorrent Client)

Azureus is a powerful and feature packed BitTorrent client. It is probably the most fully featured BitTorrent client available on Mac OS X, with advanced options such as embedded tracking (which eliminates the need to use a tracking server such as TorrentSpy). The only negative aspects of this program are that it's interface is not very Mac Like (being written in Java), and that it feels a bit 'clunky' sometimes. This is a great choice for the advanced downloader.
